Christmas is around the corner, you might want to do something art work that got Christmas feel. Today I want to share with you how to use billion knot to make cotton flowers. Normally, people used billion knot to embroidery rose.
* I used white yarn, because it looks fluffy like cotton flowers.
1) Brought up the thread from back to front of fabric.
2) Put half of the needle to back of fabric and pull it half back on the surface.
3) Take thread that is coming out of the fabric and wrap it 10~12 times with stick to make it looks more fluffy like cotton flowers.
4) Hold tight your thread and pull all the way through the thread until those wraps be on your fabric.
5) Then you can put the thread to fabric and tight a knot to end a cotton flower.
I drawing Mandala for self healing for about 4 years , but this is my first time to draw Sacral Chakra Mandala and post at my blog.Though this is part of my handmade hobby, hope you guys like it too.
Here is my first video of the process I hand drawing this Sacral Chakra Mandala Painting, I miss out the galaxy background due to my phone lack of memory. I promise going make it better next time.
I hand drawing this Sacral Chakra Mandala on Jelutong wood block (15cm x19cm) with acrylic and little glitters for shinning effects. Purpose I drawing this chakra symbols is I felt the place barely below the belly button, kinda uncomfortable lately.
And I though I’m facing some numbness problem in my life , so hope that I drawing Sacrel Chakra will making me feel better at first. Because, what I do believe is emotion is really influences body a lot.
Here to introduce some information about Sacrel Chakra.
The lord of swadisthan chakra is Lord Bharamdev Swarasti. Svadhishthana (Sanskrit: स्वाधिष्ठान, IAST: Svādhiṣṭhāna, English: “one’s own base”), or sacral chakra, is the second primary chakra according to Hindu Tantrism.
Svadhisthana chakra is shown as having six petals, bearing the Sanskrit letters ba, bha, ma, ya, ra, and la. The seed sound in the centre is vam. The tattwa for the element of Water is shown as a silver crescent.
[Association with the body]
Svadhishthana is located above the Muladhara (Sanskrit: मूलाधार, IAST: Mūlādhāra, English: “root support”) or root chakra which is located in the coccyx (tailbone), two finger-widths above the Muladhara chakra. Its corresponding point in the front of the body (i.e. its kshetram) is barely below the belly button.
It is connected with the sense of taste, (the tongue) and with reproduction (the genitals).
It is often associated with the testes and ovaries. They produce the hormones testosterone or estrogen, which influence sexual behaviors. They are stored in areas where genetic information lies dormant, in the same way that samskaras lie dormant within Svadhishthana.

Fever Reducer: mint tea has menthol as a main component, so drinking the tea can cause external sweating, while the menthol cools down your body inside. This essentially “breaks” a fever , and can reduce the associated inflammation and discomfort.
Digestive Health: It is not only a carminative, but also an analgesic, so it reduces the associated pain of cramps, bloating, and indigestion. This is due to its calming effects on the intestines and smooth muscles of the digestive tract. Diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, and constipation can all be improved with this tea, as it brings the entire system to more optimal activity levels.
Nausea and Vomiting: mint tea is antispasmodic, so it reduces the chances of vomiting and nausea, even in cases of motion sickness on a boat or a plane. It also reduces the stomachaches and queasiness associated with motion sickness, and its anti-inflammatory qualities can return your stomach to normal.
Respiratory Issues: As an antispasmodic, it can also relieve you of that irritating sensation that makes you want to cough, thereby exacerbating your respiratory condition. By relaxing the muscles of the throat and chest, you can eliminate that aspect of cold and flu symptoms.
Immune System: mint tea has known antibacterial properties against bacteria which are the cause of illnesses including fevers, coughs, and colds. Not only can drinking this delicious tea help you treat the symptoms of being ill, it can also prevent your body from getting sick in the first place!
Bad Breath: The strong, mentholated flavor and antibacterial quality of peppermint tea make it an ideal way of improving your breath.
Stress Levels: The natural sedative and antispasmodic nature of menthol makes it very good at relieving mental stress.
Word of Caution: It is a powerful type of tea, and although it does have the wide range of health benefits explained above, there are still some possible side effects. The menthol can act as an allergen to some people, and can cause heartburn in others. Both of the reactions are typically mild, but consulting a doctor about possible allergies is always a good idea. Besides that, grab some peppermint leaves and get brewing!
Here is my sharing of this organic Mint I plant at my garden, it’s really good for soothing and relaxing your body and mind. It’s really good sensation to drink during summer or hot day when you can’t drink iced beverage. Well, It’s a choice to be.
If you want more variety taste can add on some honey ,lemon, lime, strawberry, watermelon …anything you like as well.
” Menthol also has a cooling effect and can help relieve a sore throat, especially when combined with tea. Indigestion and gas: Mint is a calming and soothing herb that has been used for thousands of years to aid with upset stomach or indigestion.”
I can tell this is a very good natural remedy , cheers. Thanks for watching
